Art has always been my passion. I began actively collecting comic books and comic fantasy, horror, and science-fiction posters in 1979 and then, finally - original comic art in 1991. Immediately, I was drawn to epic painted works... especially the cover art of Frank Frazetta, William Stout, Howard Pyle, Jeff Jones & Bernie Wrightson plus everything The Studio artists collectively touched. Then it was onto the artists who were inspired or worked with them: George Pratt, Scott Hampton, Mike Hoffman, Kent Williams, Jon Muth, Frank Teran, Tim Vigil, Vince Locke, Carlos Kastro, Carl Critchlow, and all their contemporaries. I started on eBay in 1998 and was fortunate enough to live in NYC for the better part of 2 decades which gave me access to many of my favorite artists directly. For some time as well - I lived down the road from Frank Frazetta in East Stroudsburg, PA. I subscribe to the philosophy that we don't permanently own art, we are merely temporary caretakers.
